    Small Louis XV transitional "sauteuse" chest of drawers, 18th century, in veneer, frieze rosewood and amaranth,
    This rectangular chest opens to two drawers with concealed rails and drop-ring handles,
    The front features a central medallion with musical attributes, Greek-style fillets in an amaranth surround,
    Gilded and chased bronze trim,
    The uprights are straight,
    The whole rests on curved legs ending in hooves,
    It is topped with grey-black speckled filleted breche marble.
