Regency style chest of drawers, called 'Tombeau', offering by definition generously curved lines, a curved front and bulging sides.
Its top is a beautiful Grey and Pink marble with a double molding around the edge.
This piece of furniture opens with three large drawers, assembled in 'Tails of Arondes', and offering 15.5 cm depth on three rows. Their fronts, underlined by an outline in Rosewood, are, just like the sides of this chest of drawers, inlaid with Blond Mahogany in friezes and geometric decorations. Each of these drawers is provided in the center with a fictitious lock entrance, and on both sides of two drop handles 'aux Valets' in Bronze.
The front jambs are decorated with bronze figures representing, in particular, busts of women with jewels, ending on the feet in plant arabesques.
The base of the bottom rail is also embellished with a Bronze Shell and foliage.
The interior of the drawers is in solid wood.
