Dating from the Napoleon III period, this pair of wall brackets is a Louis XV-style work in carved, lacquered and gilded wood.
Of curved form, this pair of consoles with rocaille ornamentation rests on two strongly arched legs with curves and counter-curves, joined at the bottom by a crosspiece pierced with a large shell caught between two C-shaped forms. The waist crosspieces are also pierced with a pretty rocaille background, while the front crosspieces repeat the ornamentation of the bottom crosspiece.
The two consoles are topped with their original white marble, molded with a groove and a corbin beak.
Highly decorative and in good structural condition, this pair of consoles can be wall-mounted. The marbles are also in very good condition.
