Beautiful console table in mahogany and mahogany veneer, whose refinement lies in the sobriety of its architecture and ornamentation.
Here, it is topped with a Belgian black marble top and rests on lacquered wood lion claw front legs.
The front and rear uprights are simple pilasters.
The fronts are adorned with a top simulating a Corinthian capital in finely chased and gilded bronze, featuring griffin heads, palmette and foliage.
The whole rests on a rectangular plinth base.

Beautiful condition. Beautiful original gilding with matte and glossy finish.

Presence of an old delivery label.

Consulate period, between 1799 and 1804
