Furniture in solid and veneered Mahogany, from the Napoleon III period, composed of a console in the lower part. It offers a drawer in belt, opening by a notch concealed below. Its facade is embellished in the center with a Generous Foliage Decor. Four uprights support this element. Those at the front are Richly Gadrooned and Moulded, and finished with two Small Ball Feet. The rear ones are straight. They are connected to each other by two trays of identical dimensions, embellished, on the sides and the back, with Cutout Mahogany Galleries.
The upper part is designed in Gradient in both directions. It offers two trays of increasing sizes, with Carved Ornaments in the corners. They rest on consoles in solid mahogany nicely cut in scrolls. We find, on the back of the shelves, Borders in Openwork Mahogany. The second and third are similar to those present in the lower part. The first is more elaborate.
It should be noted that all the visible edges of the tops have Triple Moldings, and that they are Slightly Moved, thus marrying the Curved line of the drawer.
The interior of the latter is in Mahogany, which allows us to affirm that this Property was originally a City Furniture.
We will appreciate the Many Successful Sculptures of this Aerial Console Table, as well as its Lightness, both literally and figuratively.
