Small cabinet with rounded and recessed sides.
It is composed of two curtained doors, sliding laterally, with bronze knobs. Greek corner fillets frame a succession of herringbone marquetry, allowing the mobility of these doors. The uprights are adorned with bronze falls decorated with instruments and foliage.
The interior in mahogany offers two drawers of identical dimensions overhanging a niche.
On the belt, this cabinet is equipped with a retractable shelf, lined with brown leather, and opens with a third drawer. This last one is equipped with a wrought entrance and a working lock, accompanied by its key, all original.
The set rests on four sheathed feet finished with square brass sabots.
This piece of furniture is embellished, on the top, the sides or the front of the drawer, with violet wood marquetry, sometimes in friezes and sometimes in butterfly wings. They are underlined by nets of lemon tree and green tinted wood, which are also found on the shelf and on all the visible faces of the legs.
