Large three-leaf black lacquered wood cabinet with red lacquered Chinese decoration with gold highlights. Rectangular carved wood body decorated with Greek frieze on the entablature and geometrical motifs on the leaves.
Central leaf adorned with a red lacquered oculus, decorated with gold cranes on a wooded landscape background. Side panels adorned with red lacquered cartouches decorated with gold flowers, foliage and Chinese figures: a woman carrying a flower on one side and a man playing a flute on the other. Gilt bronze draw knobs with foliage decoration.
Six-footed molded base with Greek motif. Lantern finials adorned with geometric Chinese motifs.
The central leaf opens onto a compartment with one shelf, and the side leaves open onto compartments with two shelves.

Made in the 1880s.
