A charming piece of Asian furniture with bird and plant motifs and plenty of storage space. It features two doors whose sculpted landscape fronts showcase birds of different species. These doors feature a working lock, a chiselled escutcheon and a carved key. On opening, we discover small storage drawers in black lacquered wood with gilded decorations and cloud-shaped drawer handles. There are two wide drawers at the top and four deeper ones at the bottom. All are carved and painted with animal scenes, have drop handles and working locks. The top and sides of this Chinese piece of furniture are also adorned with carvings of birds in relief. A beautiful piece for style lovers.
