    Important and rare travel or collector's cabinet from Augsburg from the end of the 16th or beginning of the 17th century.
    Flap decorated with birds perched on the facade, conceals an architectural facade made up of monstrous drawers decorated in marquetry of imaginary cities invaded by vegetation, hence the name of these cabinets "cabinet with wild herbs".
    Rich marquetry decoration of different wood species and green tinted wood.
    Side handles, corner reinforcements and keyhole in original acid-etched iron.
    In excellent condition, missing key.
