Art Deco period mahogany music stand. This music cabinet has a mitered frame top with interior moldings around the perimeter. The top is darkened with a single panel. It lifts up to reveal a large storage space originally used for a turntable. At the front and top of the cabinet, two small doors open onto projecting brass knobs. Two large pull pendants open these doors. Underneath, a large mitered framed door features a panel and a working original lock and key. Inside, there are two adjustable shelves on racks. The uprights are slightly rounded and grooved. The bottom crosspiece and legs are carved in the Art Deco style.
