Writing Buffet in Speckled Maple and Carrara Marble - Late 19th Century

Nice sideboard forming a writing case in speckled maple and rio rosewood.
Embedded in a large Rio Rosewood molding, a white Carrara marble with gray veins has a Groove around its perimeter and half-round stepped angles.
On the Front, a Drawer with two Pull Buttons and a Round Entry in Rio Rosewood, accompanied by its Key, reveals a Writing Case at the Opening. A half-round pusher and hinge are present on each side and allow the use of a writing space, trimmed in Rosewood Tone Leather with Golden Vignette. The interior part in Mahogany reveals Storage lockers, Niches, a central part with its door, as well as a drawer on each side with a front in bird's eye maple.
This Original Furniture also benefits from two Doors surrounded by Rio Rosewood Moldings. These Moldings with Soft Shapes and Intense Color contrast and highlight the Speckled Maple that makes up this sideboard. The main door is closed with a high and low Brass lock. Inside, an Adjustable Rack Shelf appears.
In the lower part, a Large Drawer is hidden in the plinth, underlined by a Rosewood Baguette.
On the sides, the upper part of the Feet displays a beautiful sculpted element of Flutes, Volutes and Acanthus Leaves which are attenuated on the Cutaway of this Foot, also in Rio Rosewood.
This Centenary Furniture combines Sober lines and Functionality. The Precious Woods which constitute it give it Beauty and Elegance.
