Large walnut buffet Directoire period 18th century lined with toile de Jouy
Superb sideboard 2 bodies of presentation with 4 doors and curved shelves
The bottom part presents an interior shelf and opens by 2 doors in front
The side panels and the top are in original fir: economic crisis at the end of the 18th century (Revolution) we used less noble woods for some parts of furniture
This does not take anything away from its aestheticism because of the same color as the rest of the furniture
Tapered legs in the front and straight in the back
The angles are cut with Directoire rhombus which gives a reminiscence of the Louis XVI style and its classicism
