Spectacular presentation sideboard in solid tamanou wood, molded and carved. The upper part has a curved, molded cornice, carved with arrowhead flowers, it opens with five glass doors and two niches. The lower part opens laterally with two solid doors, three drawers in belts, and a large paneled niche, adorned with arcature uprights. The doors are deeply molded, the panels are carved in the mass in high relief with flower baskets and stylized stems, the drawers have large gilt bronze handles. Remarkable quality of cabinetmaking and superb patina! Charles Plumet and Tony Selmersheim were both architects and decorators in Paris, they were members of the "Art in Everything" movement. We owe important achievements to their association including part of the furniture of the Villa Demoiselle in Reims, or the furniture of the French Embassy in Vienna. Period 1900-1910
