    Large corner sideboard or English sideboard, forming a sideboard, in mahogany, mahogany veneer, ebony veneer and gilded bronze.

    Mercier Frères Decoration is a former decoration company, upholsterer and furniture manufacturer, located at 100, Faubourg Saint-Antoine, in Paris. Created in 1828 by Claude Mercier, it closed in 1985.
    Specializing in stylish furniture, it supplied many European and Oriental courts, particularly the imperial family of Iran
    She participated in the Universal Exhibition of 18679, then, with a small pavilion, in that of 1900. She then published a plan of the exhibition's attractions.  In 1914, it opened a branch in Buenos Aires in Argentina, and in 1920 a store, the Palais de Marbre, at 77, avenue des Champs-Élysées. In 1927, it opened a branch in New York, at 232-236 E. 59th Street
