    This richly molded sideboard is made of walnut on the front and oak on the sides. The front opens with two drawers and two doors. The center of the bottom rail and the panel separating the two drawers are inlaid with a star. It stands on four slightly flattened ball-shaped feet and the bottom of the cabinet is encircled by a small cornice. The brass hinges and escutcheons, the four-lobed decoration on the doors and the small molding running around the drawers are typical of Lorraine production. This beautiful sideboard, with its beautiful patina, has retained all its charm, but it has suffered the ravages of time and has been restored in the past, with the top, front jambs, legs and cornice all reworked. We acquired it in this state, in excellent condition, which enables us to resell it at a very low price.
