An Art Deco period sideboard in geometric Macssar ebony veneer, with two wide uprights forming sheaths and a central solid door revealing a mahogany interior with two interspersed shelves.
The top of the sheaths is enhanced by a black lacquered surround and adorned with a bronze ring on the front.

Signed "Saddier".
Saddier, a company that was established in Paris on rue des Boulets in the Faubourg st Antoine, and took part in the Expossition des Arts Décoratifs and the Salon d'Automne.
