Enfilade in Rio rosewood, rosewood and sycamore veneer, attributed to the famous French designer Jules Leleu (1883-1961).
The front opens to reveal five movement doors mounted on lighters, inlaid with lozenges, lemon-tree fillets and floral motifs in mother-of-pearl and various woods. These doors are fitted with original functional locks with keys.
The sycamore interior, highlighted with amaranth fillet, features seven drawers in the central section, while the left and right sections each offer two adjustable shelves, adorned with friezes on their edges and mounted on racks.
Two tapering columns form the front uprights. They are topped with brass rings and terminate in elaborate feet clad with plaques.
The three visible sides of the cabinet are framed with inwardly beveled moldings.
The bottom rail is slightly curved.
This piece of furniture has benefited from exceptional craftsmanship in both design and execution, symbolizing Leleu's know-how.
