This exquisite 5-piece bedroom set includes a magnificent European king-size bed with an impressive 183cm high Renaissance-style headboard and 83cm footboard. Crafted from walnut, it is adorned with beautiful relief carvings of heads and birds. A large relief putti angel sits in the center of the wardrobe. Other striking pieces in this exceptional bedroom set include a pair of bedside tables, a chest of drawers with a large mirror, and a wardrobe, all adorned with intricately carved details. The set has ten storage drawers, shelves, and a clothes rail, making it both practical and unique. The wardrobe has two lightly distressed full-length mirrors. The chest of drawers has three drawers and a large mirror (which can be dismantled into two parts). The mirror is adorned with relief carvings of birds and two smaller drawers. The mirror has slight marks due to age.This well-maintained original antique Italian set from the 1800s will add a touch of originality to any bedroom.The set is richly carved with scrollwork, male and female busts, 3D birds and a large 3D angel at the top of the wardrobe.The bed is a king size (EU) with internal dimensions of 200cm x 160cm to accommodate a king size (EU) mattress.The wardrobe is fully disassembled for transport and measures 275cm high x 205cm x 65cm (at its widest).The interior consists of compartments and a clothes rail. All doors are fitted with mirrors, the mirrors showing slight signs of wear due to age. Below, two storage drawers are finely carved. The bedside tables, with their slate interiors, have a drawer and storage space. They measure 46 cm x 43 cm x 127 cm. Condition Report The bedroom is over 100 years old and in good condition for its age. There is some light corrosion. See photos. Any signs of woodworm have been treated and restored.
