This exquisite 5-piece bedroom set includes a magnificent super-king-size bed with an impressive Renaissance-style headboard and footboard, crafted from beautiful walnut wood. The bed features fabulous carved putti cherubs on the headboards.

This stunning bedroom set also includes other stunning pieces: a pair of nightstands and a wardrobe, all with intricate, heavily carved details and Putti Cherub lock covers. The set comes with four drawers for storage, shelves, and two hanging rail compartments, making it both practical and unique.

This original late 19th-century Italian antique set has been well-maintained and is sure to add a wow factor to any bedroom.

The set is heavily carved with swirls and scrolls, and 3D Putti carvings on the central ridges.

The bed is a king-size bed measuring 200 cm x 216 cm, with an internal dimension of 180 cm x 200 cm to accommodate a European super king-size mattress. It can also be used as two single beds; this was a common 19th-century design for Italian beds.

The wardrobe disassembles completely for transport and measures 285 cm high (including the Putti crest) x 220 cm x 68 cm. There are internal compartments; one houses shelves and the other two have a clothes rail. There is slight rust on the central mirror door due to age.

The internal depth is 40 to 49 cm. There are three storage drawers, all intricately carved underneath with bronze Putti handles and lock covers.

The bedside tables have a drawer and a cupboard space, both with marble tops. The dimensions are 142 cm high x 42 cm wide x 37 cm deep.

Condition Report

The room is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age. There are some marks and minor losses. Please see the images. Any traces of furniture beetles have been treated and restored.

Shipping

Our main warehouse is located in Montpellier, in the south of France. The majority of our stock will be shipped from there.

For small items weighing less than 20 kg and with a circumference of 180 cm (w + h x 2), this corresponds to a box of approximately 50 x 30 x 40 cm.

Delivery takes 7 to 14 days depending on your location.

You may be subject to customs charges for your parcel, which will be payable upon delivery of your item. Please contact our dedicated team for more information before purchasing.

Large Items to the UK and EU

These items will be shipped with our own transport partners operating between the UK, France, and Spain. We aim to dispatch these items within 2 to 4 weeks. We can ship to other EU countries, but delivery times will vary.

Large Items - Overseas Shipping

We will need your full address to obtain a true shipping cost from our shipping partners.

Once all costs have been agreed, we will arrange packaging and crating if necessary.

The shipment will then be delivered to our freight forwarding partners in the UK and booked for the next sailing.

Sailings can take between 2 and 4 weeks depending on your destination.

If you do not have a customs broker to arrange customs duties (you may be liable for taxes on your purchase) and paperwork, our shipping partners can assist you.

These overseas deliveries can take between 4 and 8 weeks.

Insurance

For any shipment for which you have paid additional insurance, in the unfortunate event of damage during transit. All damages must be reported immediately to the final destination carrier and to us so that we can initiate the claims process.
