We are delighted to offer this stunning Liberty brass bed for sale.

This antique Italian brass bed from the Art Nouveau period combines elegance and style with its intricate design and stunning bronze color. The rectangular shape of the bed frame, along with the decorative headboard and curved, ornate footboard, create a fantastic statement piece. With heights of 167 cm and 100 cm respectively, this bed exudes a sense of grandeur that will make a statement in any bedroom.

Made in Italy in the early 1920s, this original Liberty bed frame is made of high-quality brass with an antique brass and bronze finish. The headboard is decorated with cherubic putti and a playful putti plaque at the footboard, adding to the character of this bed.

It fits a UK king or double mattress measuring

150 cm x 195 cm (a 200 cm mattress would sit slightly below the headboard).

The external dimensions of the bed at its widest point are 155 cm. This bed requires a slatted base.

These can be purchased online, or a slatted base can be used inside the frame.

Shipping

Our main warehouse is located in Montpellier in the south of France. The majority of our stock will be shipped from there.

For small items weighing less than 20 kg and with a circumference of 180 cm (W + H x 2), this corresponds to a box measuring approximately 50 x 30 x 40 cm.

Delivery takes 7 to 14 days depending on your location.

You may be subject to customs charges for your parcel, which will be payable upon delivery of your item. Please contact our dedicated team for more information before purchasing.

Large Items to the UK and EU

These items will be shipped with our own shipping partners operating between the UK, France, and Spain. We aim to ship these items within 2 to 4 weeks. We can ship to other EU countries, but delivery times will vary.

We will need your full address to obtain a true shipping quote from our shipping partners.

Once all costs have been agreed upon, we will arrange packaging and crating if necessary.

The shipment will then be delivered to our freight forwarding partners in the UK and booked for the next crossing.

Crossings can take between 2 and 4 weeks depending on your destination.

If you do not have a customs broker to arrange customs duties (you may be liable for taxes on your purchase) and paperwork, our shipping partners can assist you.

These overseas deliveries can take between 4 and 8 weeks.

Insurance

For any shipment for which you have paid additional insurance, in the unfortunate event of damage during transit, all damage must be reported immediately to the final destination carrier and to us so that we can initiate the claims process.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your purchase to arrange a return and refund.

Returns must be in the original packaging as received.

Items must be returned in "as sold" condition.

The buyer must notify the shipping company that this is a return and cover all shipping costs.
