Italian-style dish "à la Cardinal

Pewter "à la cardinal" dish with a wing engraved with a coat of arms consisting of a helmet, mantling and two coats of arms with three silver roses - one of which features two crosses or crosslets pattées, all topped by the initials IRAB, and on the right: AMR.
Two hallmarks on the reverse of the wing: the first featuring the pintier's hammer symbol, accompanied by the master potter's initials "IG". The second refers to the control mark: the crowned letter "F".
These large dishes were often used as ceremonial, watch or presentation platters. They were in use from the early 16th to the late 18th century.
