A humerus, a notable relic of Saint Emiliane, Virgin and Martyr, is honored in this reliquary, which is mostly dedicated to her. The relic is probably that of Saint Emilie, one of the 46 companions of Saint Blandine, martyred in Lyon in 177.
Also offered for devotion, on a background of red velvet, the color of the Passion, are more modest ex-ossibus relics of Saints Concorde, Pacifique, who is also a Virgin and Martyr, Christian, Victoire and Fortuné.
On the back are six cardinal seals protecting the opening of the reliquary, most probably bearing the arms of Cardinal Léon Benoit Charles (1826-1894).
The relics in this reliquary are offered for sale.

The dimensions of our gilded wood chase are 58 cm long, 45 cm high and 29 cm deep.
