Crescent was a young Roman who, during Diocletian's persecution, was beheaded on the Via Salaria for remaining faithful to Christ.
In a large cartouche we find a beautiful ex-ossibus relic surrounded by gilded canetilles, pearls and glassware of various colors.
Our reliquary has a beautiful carved and gilded wooden frame.
