    In an ornate wooden frame, interesting reliquary of Saint Restitut with, as an important central medallion, the wax bust of the Capuchin brother, Saint Joseph de Leonessa.

    Tradition has it that Restitut came from Palestine with Saint Madeleine and a few others. In the first century, history designates him as the first bishop of the ancient bishopric of Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux

    Saint Joseph of Leonessa (1556 -1612) is an Italian Capuchin priest, preacher and missionary. Died in the odor of Sainthood, he was canonized in 1746.
    Dimensions with frame of 34 cm by 32 and 11 cm depth.
    A work from the second half of the 18th century.
