Our carved and gilded wooden monstrance houses at its center an ex-ossibus relic of the leg of Saint Maur, Martyr. He is a Roman saint, persecuted in the 3rd century by Diocletian. An episcopal seal on the back guarantees the quality of the relic.

The reliquary rests on two astonishing Venetian lions, made of gilded wood and positioned like mirrors. Great expression with their open jaws. In Christian iconography, lions can symbolize the strength of faith and divine protection. Placed at the base of our reliquary, in addition to the geographical signature, they reinforce the piece's sacred character.
An Italian work from the late 17th or early 18th century with an original presentation.
