On a polylobed base with engraved and chased vine blossom decoration, faceted shaft with engraved knot decoration, the false cup formed of vine leaves surrounds the plain vermeil cup.
In a case made by Polti Frères, merchant in Tours, circa 1860.

Our chalice is accompanied by a vermeil paten engraved with the IHS, Minerve warranty mark 950°, with the hallmark of master goldsmiths Jules Jamin and Eugène Chevron.
