Saint Theodore Tiron or Theodore d'Amassé, Megalomartyr was a Roman soldier beheaded in 303 at Euchaita.
A beautiful ex-ossibus relic of this saint is bagged in the center of a glass ampoule. It is surrounded by two wax episcopal seals. The ampulla itself is encased by four fluted columns surmounted by high-relief figures of the Theological Virtues. A green stone is set on top of the relic.
The whole piece, topped by a saintly figure, is in bronze and silver-plated metal.
The circular base is engraved with the Holy Shroud and the instruments of the Passion, and the ovoid knot is adorned with plants.
