Our reliquary, probably made of brass and then silver plated, is decorated with a silver figure, probably representing Saint Clare. She holds in my hand, like a mise en abyme, a monstrance identical to the one we are presenting.
German work from the beginning of the 18th century.
On a hollow round foot decorated with leaves in relief between tongue ornaments, on which a baluster-shaped stem is fixed. The upper end, a small dome, is also decorated with fine tongues made with precision.
Very good condition - the top part is missing, which was probably once composed of a cross.
Dimensions of 39 cm high - diameter of the foot of 17.8 cm, total weight of 900 g.
