This imposing wall capital rests on the base of a sculpted limestone column, decorated with croziers and an upright trifoliate leaf,
astragal to torus.
From a chapel in the Île-de-France region, it was carved during the last third of the 12th / early 13th century, when King Philip II of France reigned over the kingdom.
