Crucifix with bronze Christ, a solid figure with a black patina.
The cross is a thin plate of embossed and hammered copper, to which a small plaque with the initials INRI is attached.
Christ, nailed to the cross, stands with his head bent to the right, his hips draped in a short perizonium. The folds of the drapery and a few anatomical details (fingers, eyes, locks of hair and beard) are incised into the bronze.
The crown of thorns and the nail on the feet are missing.
The copper plate was hammered onto a core that was probably once made of wood. It has since disappeared, replaced by a lead amalgam with a suspension clip.
The cross was certainly originally two-sided.
