This Christ dates from the 18th century and is probably a Dieppe work. It's spectacular, with large dimensions.
You'll note that the frame is later, dating from the 1950s, but it sets off this Christ well.
Condition: two broken fingers on one hand, one broken finger on the other, missing waist (left side), small stains in places.
