In an elegant gilded carved wooden frame. Our canon, enhanced printing on strong cardboard, was produced by Maison Veuve François Chereau.
She took over and developed the business of her late husband from 1729 to 1755, designer, engraver and publisher of prints in Paris, rue Saint Jacques.

This is the first element of a canon, with the prologue to the Gospel according to Saint John, which the priest read at the end of mass. Our prologue is surrounded by a superb representation of the tetramorph.
