Antique Rockery
by French Vintage Interiors
Add a touch of religious art to your home decor or commercial space with these stunning 19th-century terracotta church reliefs. The intricate carvings depict the story of Christ and are made with oil and terracotta materials. These rare sculpted stories are sure to impress your guests.
The Stations of the Cross, also known as the Way of Sorrows or Via Crucis, are a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and the prayers that accompany it.
These large wall sculptures are perfect for any building that wishes to showcase its religious heritage. The 10 reliefs would have originally been a set of 14, with numbers 5, 8, 9, and 13 missing. The sculptures originally came from a church in France, and some have been damaged over the years (please ask for more photos to show the condition).
The reliefs are in their original unrestored condition, depending on the look you desire, they could be restored to their previous state. Some of the reliefs are in good overall condition, others have chips, flaws and missing pieces. Please contact us for more images.
Whether you are looking to add a touch of history to your home or create a beautiful display in your commercial space, these 19th century terracotta church reliefs are the perfect addition.
