I offer for sale this superb and large color engraving from the Louis XV period in good general condition representing the Marquise de Pompadour favorite of King Louis XV. This engraving was made by the King's engraver, Demarteau located in Paris rue de la Pelletrie after a painting by François Boucher who made many portraits of Madame de Pompadour. This engraving is kept in its gilded wooden frame (some chips to report). Moisture stains on the engraving.
Nevertheless a lot of charm.
