This 18th-century miniature depicts a gentleman. It is surrounded by a small gilded brass frame, which sets off this pretty little miniature, all set in a green cloth frame. It bears a signature that can be identified as the work of a talented miniaturist.
Please note that the frame is damaged in places. There are small stains, age-related wear and rubbing. The small stick around the frame is broken at top left. The paper is torn and missing at the back.
As for the miniature, it is still fresh, but there is some minor damage in the top left-hand corner. It has its protective glass.
