    Pair of Regency-style gilt bronze andirons, with elongated sphinx motifs, after a model by André Charles Boulle. Antique work in the Louis XIV Regency style, from the mid-19th century.

    Our andirons are characterized by their monumental size (for a very large château fireplace) and the quality of their carving, so much so that they can also be used as decoration on a chest of drawers.

    The set is very decorative and in very good condition, with beautiful carving and fine gold gilding, with some residual traces of verdigris.
