    Superb fan with central decoration representing a genre scene with a gallant seated on a bench next to a young girl embroidering a work
    On either side of this scene, there are in two cartridges a quiver with arrows, Cupid's bow and doves for one and for the other flowers detached from their ribbon by doves' beaks
    These scenes are surrounded by a large lace decoration with very fine embroidered multicolored cannetilles.
    Hand painting on very fine gauze and in very good condition
    The frame is made of openwork wood decorated with finely carved arabesques.
    Each strand is painted with alternating flowers and rows of Louis XVI style pearls
    Polychrome flowers painted very finely, sprigs in very good condition
    The back of the fan is also painted on each strand with an old gold arabesque decoration.
