    A delightful little dog made of glazed and crackled terracotta, made after 1900, probably by the Bavent factory in Normandy.
    Its eyes are made of sulphide. I note that one front paw has been glued back on. The tip of one ear is missing, and there are small flaws in places that require restoration.
