Beautiful circular gilded wood saddle topped with Breche Violette marble from Italy. The edge of the top is molded and graded, embellished with pearls.
The cord-shaped belt rests on four turned legs. These are embellished at the top with diagonal grooves, followed by stopped flutes and finally by four outward-curving, recessed and patterned feet forming goat's paws.
At the bottom, connecting the four legs, is a fluted, molded spacer plate with concave sides.
