Reversible vases in gilded bronze Candlesticks Louis XVI style 19th century

Elegant Pair of Covered Vases in gilded and chased bronzes, evoking small covered vases on Doric columns. The finely chased gilded bronzes highlight the richness of the decoration. The handles feature goat heads and drooping garlands of fruit and foliage. The whole is richly embellished with moldings and fluting, pearls and striations. The top ends with a rich floral bouquet of grape leaves, bunches of grapes, wheat and pomegranates. The whole rests on a square Base with cavet molding and sinuous pearls and flats.
