    Materials: Cast, chased and gilded bronze and white marble.

    Dimensions height 33 cm top width 14 cm Base: 15 cm on each side.

    Weight per item: 3 kg


    Object's architecture: Very elegant pair of tripod cassolettes in chased and gilded bronze and white marble. The tripod uprights, adorned with fluting and acanthus leaves, end in three satyr heads and feet. The removable lid is decorated with gadroons and lines of asparagus, and topped by a seed-button-shaped socket. A large bronze applique, adorned with acanthus leaves, covers the bottom of the bowl, and a central button features an exploded pomegranate. The whole rests on a triangular base with raised edges, embellished with a string of pearls and a thick cover plate adorned with acanthus leaves wrapped around its center. The cassolettes rest on three ball-shaped feet.
