    Description :
    Cipolin marble, gilded bronze.

These elegant covered vases are made of a square marble base with a chamfered bronze counter base. The molded pedestal has crossed links and ends in a crown to carry the body of the vase. The elongated bulbous body is seized by two beautiful handles in plant motifs and double volutes.
The lid, whose grip is a bay, repeats the motifs of the base of the body of these vases.
A beautiful Cipolin marble has been elegantly cut to reveal concentric patterns bringing an additional aesthetic to the beautiful proportions of Louis XIV spirit of these cassolettes, moreover cipolla means in Italian "veined as an onion".

It is a work of the House Thiebault and Fumières.
