This rare pair of mounted vases are made up of a stepped base with three feet in acanthus leaves, a pedestal in a vegetable collar carries the porcelain cone.
On a matte royal blue background, the cartouches represent on the one hand a winged woman in the Antique style throwing water from a vase and on the other hand another woman carrying fire in a brazier (allegorical vestal virgins).
