    Rare basin or large decorative cup in bronze and cloisonné enamels with rich white-blue decoration of numerous characters in landscapes of pagodas and mountains, with beautiful vegetation (umbrella pine, bamboo, cherry trees), signed below Cheng-Te (Zhengde *), emperor of the Ming dynasty (1505-1521), from China at the beginning of the 16th century.
    This cup is in good general condition and is of exceptional quality. It is placed on a wooden base (rear). The cup is signed below the ideograms Cheng - Te, mark of the Zhengde Emperor.
    Please note: the cut is slightly distorted, some small accidents and losses on the cloisonné, some scratches and dirt, a foot is missing on the base, wear and tear, take a good look at the photos.
    * Zhengde (October 26, 1491 – April 20, 1521):
    by his personal name Zhu Houzhao, is the tenth emperor of the Ming dynasty (1505-1521). He succeeded his father as the tenth emperor of the Ming dynasty on June 19, 1505, at the age of fourteen. Completely disinterested in state affairs, he spends his days drinking and satisfying his sexual appetite in brothels, one of which he built near the Forbidden City. He died in 1521 at the age of 30, probably of pneumonia.
