<meta charset="UTF-8" />Beautiful Art Nouveau sewing kit from the late 11th and early 20th centuries, with foliage (vine-like) and berry motifs.
This design is very similar to that of the viorme orbier.
The tools are made of silver and stamped "boar's head". They are in very good condition.
The box contains :
- Two pairs of scissors: a pair of embroidery scissors and a pair of linen scissors. Both pairs cut fabric except at the ends.
- A needle case (in very good condition)
- Embroidery punch (very good condition)
- A lace-pass needle
- A thimble without holes or dents in very good condition.
The leather-covered case is also in very good condition. The initials "D.P." are stamped on the top of the lid.
The box measures 18 x 10 cm.
