Beautiful small antique sewing box in a black wood and mother-of-pearl and brass inlaid box.
The scissors, embroidery punch, lace needle and needle case are in vermeil (gold-plated silver), but the gilding is quite faded.
The thimble is silver. The thimble pattern is quite faded, but there are no holes or dents.
The tools are boar's head sanded.
