    Game or token box in amboyna burl marquetry, ebony or ebonized wood, mother-of-pearl, and brass threads, Napoleon III period - mid/late 19th century. Unsigned, in the style of Tahan, Maison Alphonse Giroux, or an equivalent.

    A rare find, it features a music box movement that winds with a key underneath.

    Beautiful floral cartouche in Boulle marquetry (brass and mother-of-pearl). Our box is complete with its four sets of bone tokens in four colors, a set of dice, and score counters. The cartouche is free of any monogram: you can engrave it with your number or coat of arms.

    Perfect condition; the original french polish has been cleaned. No damage to the veneer or decoration. The music box works.
