Sewing set in an elm burl inlaid box.
It contains various tools, some of which have been brought back:
- A pair of steel embroidery scissors with lyre-shaped handles.
- An ivory thimble
- An ivory hook holder
- An ivory needle case
These ivory tools are fitted with a small moonstone, I believe.
- A bone lace needle
- An embroidery punch with bone handle
- A bone bobbin.
The box is in very good condition, with no missing parts and the buffer varnish is still very nice. It has a handle on top.
