    Rare travel writing case, in blackened wood with brass inlays featuring a monogram in the center, surrounded by flowers, scrolls, arabesques and knots.
    This unusual object opens in the upper part thanks to a hook lock, original, with its key in working order. The upper part lifts up and reveals three compartments forming a correspondence sorter.
    The opening of this storage space allows the opening of the writing part whose top flap is staved.
