Large marquetry box.
Rectangular in shape, in fruitwood veneer, resting on 4 tapered legs, decorated with reserves of geometric friezes of an urn surmounted by a pair of birds.
The hinged lid is inlaid with a bat wing rosette numbered "A.M.C"
The interior is lined with domino paper with a blue background.
The back of the lid contains a mirror. (minor wear from time.).
The interior compartment was fitted out later.
